BEDFORD, TX – Authorities say a driver is under arrest for a fatal crash that took place in Bedford on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, 36-year-old Joshua Paul Hagger of Mansfield has been charged with manslaughter.

Police said Hagger was driving a Dodge pickup truck at high speed on Highway 121 when he collided with a sedan near Cheek Sparger Road at about 2:30 p.m.

A 2-year-old girl from Benbrook who was in the sedan was killed, while other passengers in the sedan were injured, including a child. Hagger was arrested at the scene and was lodged in the Euless Jail.  Further charges are possible, police said, as the investigation continues.
