DALLAS, TX – Authorities said a two-car crash in east Dallas Monday morning left two people dead and two others injured.

NBC DFW reports the wreck occurred in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 30 near Ferguson Road at about 2:30 a.m.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said two people, a man and a woman, were pronounced dead at the scene.  One person was critically injured while another victim sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The eastbound lanes of I-30 were shut down near the accident scene for about four and a half hours for the crash investigation and cleanup.
