ARLINGTON, TX – A man was killed after a motorcycle and an SUV collided near I-20 in Arlington on Sunday.

According to a report by WFAA, the motorcyclist rear-ended a Ford Escape on the interstate frontage road near Matlock Road at about 3:30 p.m.

The motorcycle tipped over and slid across the roadway, killing the 57-year-old rider. Police say the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Ford was uninjured and cooperate with police.

Investigators say impairment may have been a factor in the fatal crash. However, the investigation remains underway as of this writing.
