DALLAS, TX – Authorities said the driver of a stolen pickup truck crashed into two other vehicles in Dallas Monday afternoon, including a Dallas Independent School District bus.
According to NBC DFW, police officers were pursuing the truck after it was stolen at gunpoint by seven juveniles. As the chase reached Buckner Boulevard and Samuell Boulevard, the driver of the pickup collided with a vehicle pulling a trailer. That crash also led to the school bus being struck.
The pickup truck driver then lost control of the vehicle, which went into a parking lot and overturned. Police said the seven juveniles tried to flee the scene on foot but were quickly apprehended.
Those seven along with the driver of one of the vehicles sustained minor injuries. The school bus driver was not injured and no students were on board at the time of the incident.
