GRANBURY, TX – An 18-year-old was killed and two others rushed to the hospital after an off-road vehicle accident in Hood County on Saturday.
According to a report by NBC DFW, the incident occurred at about 1:19 p.m. along Bolton Road.
Police say 18-year-old Payton Herman was a passenger in the all-terrain vehicle when it crashed into a barrow ditch and overturned, before careening into a nearby fence.
Herman was transported to a Fort Worth hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later. Two other occupants in the vehicle, both age 21, were also hospitalized with unknown injuries.
The precise location of the crash is unclear at this time.
