FORT WORTH, TX – A teenager is facing drunk driving charges in connection with a fatal car crash that occurred in Fort Worth early Saturday morning, authorities said.
According to NBC DFW, police responded to the scene on Miller Avenue at about 5 a.m. Officers found that a Ford and a GMC had apparently collided head-on. One person in the GMC was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital. The victim’s name was not released.
After an investigation by the police department’s DWI unit, a 17-year-old was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle.
