DALLAS, TX – Police said an alleged drunk driver was involved in a crash at Dallas Love Field Airport off Lemmon Avenue early Saturday morning.
According to NBC DFW, the 21-year-old man was driving a GMC Sierra when he crashed through the east side of a gate at about 3 a.m. His vehicle went into a private hangar space, where it hit the wings of two private jets and also struck a fuel truck. No one was injured in the incident.
Police stopped the driver and conducted a field sobriety test. He was then arrested for driving while intoxicated, and other charges remain pending. Police said he was taken to a hospital because of his level of intoxication.
