SAGINAW, TX – One person was killed and three others hospitalized in a car accident Monday afternoon, according to police in Saginaw.
NBC DFW reports the crash took place in the 1200 block of North Blue Mound Road, State Highway 156, at about 3:12 p.m.
Police said the driver of an SUV headed north on the roadway slowed down to make a U-turn by use of a side street and entered the path of a northbound pickup truck, resulting in a collision.
The SUV driver, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was in the vehicle.
Three people in the pickup truck, two women and a toddler, were hospitalized. No details were released on their conditions.
